This serum is an interesting texture. It’s got enough surface tension that you can dispense a drop at a time, but the second you touch it, it becomes watery and spreads quite a long way. You don’t need much to cover your entire face and neck. It absorbs instantly. Although fragrance is listed at the end of the ingredients list, there is no discernible scent to this. The serum makes skin feel softer and reduces redness on application. It’s a good multi-tasking formula with antioxidants, ferments, brighteners, Vitamin C, humectants, niacinamide, a mild exfoliant and skin soothers. Over time it will stimulate collagen, smooth skin. lighten dark spots and balance oil production. It’s also a good value, as you’re getting 1.69oz instead of the typical 1oz for $18 at the time of this review. Would repurchase.

Great For Younger Skin – Doesn’t Do Much for Older Skin
Soo’AE Phyto Collagen Serum
This is a great vegan collagen serum that is probably perfect for younger skin but it didn’t do much for my older skin. It feels very lightweight and must be combined with some sort of oil for this to have any impact on my skin. It does contain vitamin c and niacinamide which help to brighten skin. This just isn’t for super dry skin.

Wife loves it
My wife has been using this as a part of her skincare regimen. She’s relatively young still (early 30s), and lucky for her, she looks even younger than her true age. She does a lot to maintain that youthful appearance, and she has been very happy with this collagen. She says the collagen absorbs smoothly without any unpleasant residue and leaves her skin feeling taut and hydrated. Overall, it’s a good product for a good price, and the fact that it’s non-animal derived vegan collagen makes it even better.

great for my purposes
i like this serum a lot because itÕs light enough that i can use it to dilute heavier products. itÕs affordably priced and absorbs well without stickiness or excessive shine and helps me use less cream/moisturizer while increasing spreadability. iÕve used their sheet masks before and liked them so i was pumped to try this and itÕs good. if youÕre older or have drier skin it might not be enough for you but iÕm at that in between stage where i need the powers of both lighter and heavier products because by themselves itÕs not enough or too much. overall iÕm very pleased with this product and ymmv of course since everyoneÕs skin is a different but if your skin is similar to mine youÕll enjoy it. it didnÕt irritate my slightly sensitive skin either.

My face looks great
IÕve been using this now for a couple of weeks. I was concerned because by day three my face was breaking out. I was going to stop using it but decided to keep on going. Then, just a a day later, my skin cleared up and it looks better than ever. I put it on my face and my neck twice a day. I use it instead of my moisturizer and my face looks amazing. Phyto collagen & ferment extracts
This Soo’AE Phyto Collagen Serum comes in a plastic bottle with an eye dropper. The serum is unscented and clear. It is easy to apply, is not oily and makes my skin smooth and tighter when it dries. Collagen and ferment extracts are good for my mature skin. The tightening effect is an extra bonus. I like it!

Better as a booster than stand alone serum
My sometimes overly sensitive skin didn’t react or breakout, which is great. I saw only mild effects though so I’d probably not repurchase. I would say this is best for younger skin that just needs a little TLC and added to a daily moisturizer to give it a boost. As a stand alone I found it too thin to apply well.

I seem to be out of the target age range for this serum (for those in their 20’s??) but I have dry sensitive skin so I chose this anyway. Feels good on my skin, and all the fermented ingredients seem to be the latest in skincare. Dries without being sticky or tacky which I love.

Soo’AEs line of affordable skincare products have really allowed everyone to be able to enjoy skincare and not break the bank. It is super hydrating with the vegan collagen and vit c for brightening. The formulation glides beautifully into the skin and doesn’t leave a tacky or heavy finish. This can definitely be incorporated into a multi step skincare routine without becoming too heavy. I find this perfect for both day and night. While I do wish it had a few more powerhouse ingredients, for $18 you really can’t expect too much.

Packed full of vegan-friendly collagen to improve visible signs of aging while hydrating skin, I simply applied a good amount to my face and neck after cleansing and patting dry. I love that it absorbs nicely without being overly oily, sticky, or heavy, so I am able to use it during the day and still apply makeup after. I am an award-winning esthetician of 5 years and this is my professional review for SOO’AE Phyto Collagen® Serum. First off, I like the packaging, very cute. I like that the main active ingredient is right on the box. It has no scent and a very thin viscosity. It’s like water. I apply a full drop on on my fingertips in a cupped hand, and quickly bring it up to my face. It’s very thin so the more you use the easier it will go on as far as spreadability. My skin feels hydrated and nice after application. It will take weeks to see results but I feel good about this product. It contains phyto-collagen, which comes from plants so it is not animal-derived which I loooove. Soo’ae is a clean brand, vegan and cruelty free. Korean skincare with a purpose, try it!

So this was a cute moment….I was actually very surprised by the performance of this product. It’s an anti age serum so I’m not sure if someone in their 20’s would see any noticeable results. The first thing I noticed was how light weight the serum was and how quickly it absorbs. It helps hydrate without feeling like I’m wearing anything. Not necessarily a serum I would wear by itself. It definitely needs to combined with something else for my skin. I’m a dry skin girl so moisture retention is very important to me. I do have to layer with this product but again, because it’s so light weight I dont feel it on my face. Love it to prep my skin before makeup and love using it with the cleanser from the same company. I can tell it does help tighten my pores under makeup. I’ll use this serum over s primer any day. The Phyto Collagen Serum is clean and green and very affordable and I feel most suitable for under age 40. Some of the key ingredients are vitamin C, to brighten and tone, prickly pear extract to moisturize and restore, and ferment complex extract to help hold in skin moisture and anti inflammatory benefits. This product is for all skin types to use in your skin care regimen for anti aging care. It has little to no fragrance and absorbs quickly with massage. I always encourage my client to massage products in for maximum absorption of the product. I have very dry skin and needed to use a good moisturizer on top to full hydrate my face.
