I love serums! I am sure it is my favorite part of my skincare routine. As an esthetician, I used and tried so many different types of serums. The SOO’AE Phyto Collagen® Serum is great but I think it is best suited for those with combination to oily skin because it is so light weight! It absorbs so quickly into the skin! I wouldn’t use this particular serum with any skin care tools such as a gua sha or facial roller because it will absorb so quickly. Out of all the wonderful products I received by SOO’AE, the Phyto Collagen Serum is by far my favorite. The combination of vitamin C to rejuvenate the skin and vegan collagen to plump skin with hydration. I love serums, and it’s an absolute must for my regimen as I suffer from over drying, especially in my t-zone area. Soo’AE Phyto Collagen Serum is nutrient rich, and its skin brightening and plumping effect is visible upon use because of the combination of plant collagen & fruit and plant extracts. This serum is great for sensitive skin types, which is a plus. It doesn’t sting and gives a nice calming effect. I am quite dry, but I still appreciate deep cleansing AND a serum that will restore moisture and hydration after doing so. The serum is lightweight and absorbs quickly, so if you were looking for satisfaction through texture and touch, you won’t get that here. I love a good serum, especially if its plant based and definitely if it’s hydrating and anti-aging. I recently had a baby and turned 40 so my dry skin became even drier and I need all of the moisture, elasticity, and plumping that this serum provides. A few of my favorite ingredients used in this product are: Photo collagen – good for anti aging and firming, Ginseng Root which is used for hydration and improving fine lines and wrinkles, and Niacinamide and anti-aging and smoothing agent – these along with ferment extracts makes for a silky serum that helps to produce healthy, soft and glowing skin. In my professional opinion as an esthetician, I think that everyone should have a serum in their toolkit. Serums are hero products that address everything from hyperpigmentation, acne, loss of resiliency etc. Because of the smaller molecular size of serums, they are able to penetrate the epidermis more effectively than a moisturizer. A hydrating and anti-aging serum made with vegan collagen, this product made my skin plump, vibrant and baby soft.
The serum has a great texture, not too thick or tacky and has the most beautiful and delicate fragrance of fresh rose petals. It’s not heavy, fake or perfumy just a natural and pretty scent.
