Ok so this is going to be one of those brutally honest reviews. I was not wowed by this product. I’ve used many lip masks and patches over the years as a professional makeup artist and there are a couple things I do not like about this product with the first being that it’s way too slippery. I literally had to lay down to keep the product on. I’m used to patches that stick and allow me to move around and multi task and do other things while I’m taking care of my skin. It slid around everywhere. Even if I tried to be super still, I could still feel the patch sliding. As for the essence on the patch, it was just ok. It felt hydrating for a short while and then the feeling kind of disappeared. So I also wasn’t very impressed with the essence on the patch itself and my hopes were high because it looked so promising but this gel patch is just too slippery. I also didn’t notice a plumping effect which I was also looking forward to.

I love this Soo’Ae My Collagen Hydrogel Lip Patch. This lip patch is the best quality lip patch that I have ever tried. Unlike others, this lip patch has a thicker texture that is infused with amazing ingredients. This lip patch is formulated with a super berry complex (Strawberry, Blueberry, Bearberry, Cranberry, and Blackberry), collagen, green tea, and hyaluronic acid that works to help soothe and restore moisture to lips from dryness. The packaging is nice and sealed. This lip patch sticks well on the lip. I love how It soothes the lip, and I can feel the ingredients penetrates nicely into the lip skin. It feels relaxing. I left this mask on for almost an hour I hoped of helping my extremely chapped lips. I have dry skin and there are very few products that help me. Again, just like the eye mask the ingredients are pretty much the same. But here’s the thing … besides water, glycerin is the second ingredient that is listed. The “calming” ingredients are listed towards the top, but collagen is not. My Lips after an hour feel as if I put on aquaphor. It isn’t special and rathe once again a hassle because the mask would not stay put unless you were not moving & laying down. I’m a mom of a toddler and I do not have time to lay down for 15 min. Perhaps another material would be well suited, however this hydrogel does not fulfill its purpose.I only recommend those who have time to lay down and do nothing.

I have the privilege of being in the beauty industry for 30+ years and the opportunity to experience hundreds of cosmetic products. My Collagen Hydrogel Lip Patch is formulated with hydrolyzed collagen, licorice root and green tea extracts. What to expect: A sweet scented lip mask, with a jelly like texture which makes them slightly fragile and could tear if not careful. Included is one oversized patch with a slit cut in the middle (I was not able to comfortably move my lips during the treatment). They are soaked in a restorative serum, there is enough serum left over to lightly pat into the lips after you’re finished with the treatment. The patches can be slightly slippery, found it best to lay down during the application which lasts 10-15 minutes. The result was a nice moisturized feeling, supple appearance and a restorative treatment for my very dry lips. This Korean beauty line is very affordable, vegan and cruelty free. This lip mask is appropriate for all skin types.

I’m an Esthetician and have tried a few lip patch masks. I absolutely love lip care so my lips are always well hydrated, so I was excited to see if this lip patch would improve them further. This lip patch contains hydrating humectants, collagen, and stimulating plant extracts to plump the lips. Unlike some other lip patches I’ve used, this one is very large and could easily fit any lip size. Also, this allows the patch to treat lines around the lip area at the same time. Because the patches are large and somewhat thick, I have to lie completely flat and not move for it to stay on my lips. So this is a mask perfect for those zen moments, but not for when you’re trying to work on your computer or look at your phone. The patch has has a slightly sweet scent. After removing, my lips did feel slightly smoother and invigorated, but not much of a difference, probably because they were already hydrated. Overall, I did enjoy and would use again!

In my experience, it is best to place a lip sleeping mask, serum, or balm onto the lips before placing the patches on your lips. Keeping the lip mask in a skincare fridge helps to cool and soothe cracked irritated lips. You can also put a slit into the lip patches so that you can sip on your favorite drink while engaging in self-care! I highly suggest adding the lip patches into anyone’s self-care routine.

My first sight of the big pink lips made me giggle at first because of the overly gigantic size lips. Then later a feeling of anticipation and excitement to find out what this product can do for my lips. As soon as I opened the packet, I could hear the vacuumed sealed air releasing like opening a fresh canister of coffee. The scent of sweetness burst out and it was nice. To the touch, the lip patch felt so juicy. It also feels very fragile like trying to steady a piece of Jell-O. I handled it gently and gingerly as I placed it on my lips. Once placed, the gigantic lips were more than enough to cover my lips. It covered my upper lip and around the lower lip to a part of my chin area. There is also a small cut out slit in the middle of the lip patch. I thought that the little cut out opening would allow me to move my lips. But it didn’t help. My lips could not move. I discovered that these did not stay in place. I could not do things or walk around. I had to lie down to prevent it from slipping down. The suggested time is 10-15 minutes. I left it on, a little past 15 minutes. My results afterwards ~ super moist and plump lips. My lips tasted and smelled sweet from the berry ingredient in this. I love the hydration that these patches can provide. These would be lovely all year round. In the summer, it’s a nice way to cool lips from the extreme temperature of the sun. In the winter, these can intensely hydrate dry cracked lips. I also want to mention, I felt a slight numbing sensation, which I thought was strange. Perhaps it was because my lips were immobile for a period of time or perhaps an ingredient that caused my lips to feel numb. I am still unsure what was the cause of the numbing. However, the good thing is the numbing soon subsided. Overall, the patch is a nice and fun way to treat the lip area. I only wish the lips were smaller with a tighter grip because it kept slipping off my face throughout the 15 minute session. Aside from that incident, the lip patch delivered moisturized lips without any white film buildup. The extracts from Super berries, Green Tea and Licorice Root kept my lips plump and healthy. I like how it even reached the corners of my lips for deep hydration. My lips did not feel greasy after I peeled it off and there was the right amount of residue to massage into my lips. Soo’AE is an affordable and Vegan K-Beauty brand which in my opinion outperforms other brands in their price range. The Soo’AE My Collagen Hydrogel Lip Patch hydrate, plump and minimize fine lines around the lips. These are great when you have been in a dry, cold or windy climate and when you have been traveling. Try keeping these (or any hydrogel) in the fridge for an extra refreshing feel. Utilize any extra essence in the package on areas of concern (except eye area). These work for all skin types and have a lightly sweet scent. Customers would always ask me for an affordable brand that worked in my six years in beauty retail. Soo’Ae is officially one of the brands that I will be telling people about. This lip mask only costs four dollars and I felt that it was moisturizing, as advertised. My lips tend to run on the dry side, so I need all the help I can get, and can see myself buying this mask again. I loved the subtle berry smell of this mask. As someone who is sensitive to a lot of fragranced products, it’s nice when I can find one that is not overpowering. Some of the fruit ingredients used in this mask include: blackberry, strawberry, blueberry, cranberry and grapefruit. I ended up using this mask on a warm day, and thanks to the gel format of this mask, it was nice and refreshing. Thanks to it already being a gel mask you don’t need to refrigerate it for that cooling effect (in fact the brand website tells people not to store it in extreme heat or cold, so don’t refrigerate!).

I love SOO’AE already, as all their other products I’ve used are really great. Unfortunately, this mask didn’t wow me, but perhaps it was on my end. Like Amy other masks I’ve used being in the makeup industry for more than 5 years, this one was very watery and tore, making it really hard to keep on. Let me say, I LOVE that this is a clean product. The formula uses super berries and collagen to plump lips, which sounds amazing to me since I only like using clean products now. I wouldn’t say my lips are dry, I would they are pretty normal, but in the winter they can get very dry. I’ve been using a lip oil a lot lately, so maybe that’s why I didn’t feel too much of a difference with this mask.I also want to mention that I may have been a little tough opening it, so be gentle, and thus separated the top part from the bottom part. Because of this, I couldn’t keep the mask on even laying down. It was so slippery. What I did do instead was apply all of the liquid from the patches and the package itself to my lip area. This is one of their best-selling masks, so I want to give it another try because I think I probably ruined my first experience. I do however wish that we could find a different material or way to package lip mask sos that they are not slipping and sliding all over the place. I know it’s a hard area to make product for, but the reason I don’t use them is because they always tear on me. Perhaps a different material could hold the ingredients while still keeping the actual patch on your lips.

I’m a huge fan of lip treatments in general. As a licensed Esthetician for over ten years, I like to incorporate lip treatments in professional treatments, especially in those colder months where everyone is struggling with chapped lips. Because I naturally have a fuller pout, I’m pretty diligent about taking care of that area with nighttime lip masques, but I still enjoy an occasional boost every so often. This lip treatment was kind of odd to me because of how it was shaped. I couldn’t sit up wearing this because it keep sliding down and it felt very slippery. I understand the size of this because I think the idea is to not only encompass the actual lips, but the area around the lips (which can also show signs of aging, especially for straw drinkers, sun bathers and smokers). That said, I thought the size was a little too wide and difficult to conform to the area. On a positive note, my lips felt bouncy and hydrated after using.

I received the Soo’AE My Collagen Hydrogel Lip Patch. It’s affordable costing only $4.00 and is thicker than most lip patches I’ve tried. It’s enriched with a Super Berry Complex of Strawberry, Bearberry, Cranberry and Blackberry. It also contains hydrolyzed collagen, licorice root, and green tea extracts. My lips are left feeling smooth and hydrated. You can use a jade roller to penetrate the ingredients into your lips. After taking it off I finish off my lips with a lip mask. The only thing I don’t notice is the plumping action, probably after multiple uses not just once. Plumping lip products sometimes tingle or are mentholated and instant created blood flow to your lips to plump them. With this lip patch you won’t get that effect. I would still recommend this lip patch to someone looking for affordable skincare. I give this lip patch five stars.

Well being in the beauty business for so many years I’m always around mirrors . The mirrors are constantly haunting us of all of our flaws. In my fifties I have to say one of my annoying flaws is the lines around my lips. I have tried everything to soften the lines around my mouth . The only thing that has really worked has been either a little filler which I rarely get or acids. I’m trying this beautiful smelling berry hydrogel patch . The smell comes from strawberries,blueberries,bearberry,cranberry,and blackberries . I think it smells great and heres how it works , place on clean , dry lips and I think laying down is the best way to have it stay on good , otherwise it slides off .Ten to fifteen minutes is enough time to help soften and soothe your lips before that big event . It feels soft ,cool and really does plump up your fines lines and it softens your lips for sure . I actually can feel it tingle a little as it fills the wrinkles with the collagen hydrolyzed gel . It moisturizes your lips also with licorice root and green tea . After you put it on for 15 minutes and remove it just massage the moisture from the patch into your skin. I’m doing a before and after do you see the difference let me know . I feel the difference a little I wouldn’t say it’s grand but like I always say , “every little bit counts” . I would also have to add that I always wear lipgloss so my lips are never dry however it did soften my lines . So try and see what your results are here are mine ! I do see a difference !

Ok I get it. This is kind of a novelty. The lip shape. It’s kitschy. You have to kind of be laying down for this because it doesn’t stay on your lips. So take a moment to pamper yourself. It’s huge too. I mean. It covered a lot lol. Thankfully there are lots of good skincare ingredients in there not just for the lips so it can technically benefits all the mouth area but this just kind of fell short for me. Is it fun? Yes. Is it something I want to grab? Not really. Ok as far as ingredients, berry complex and collagen. Both awesome for a burst of life to the lips and my lips did really feel quite nice. This would make a great gift as it’s individually wrapped but I don’t think I’m Going to be buying this. As a five year veteran in the high end skincare retail industry, these are great for gifts but just not something I’d buy a lot.

The Soo’AE gel is thick and cool, which makes it feel good upon contact. There was no noticeable flavor either. Note: If you’re claustrophobic, take note of the lack of a mouth hole. You can, of course, punch a hole in the middle with a straw if you feel the need to sip something soothing while doing your treatment.Thick Gel Won’t Stay In PlaceThe thickness of the hydrogel makes it impossible to wear sitting up, and I do the majority of my beauty routine at my desk in the evening. Soo’Ae My Collagen Hydrogel Lip Patch is such a cool lip patch that was so fun to use! The soft Hydrogel was so loving and gentle to my lips. It smelled like a sweet berry treat that you wanted to eat! Made with natural ingredients like the super berry complex including, strawberries, and blueberries. Also the licorice root has potent antioxidants which are so helpful in fighting the environment effects of aging especially around the lips. I noticed my lips were softer and they looked more full. I totally appreciated this lip patch as a great treat for the summer skin and for some much needed moisture and softness. It was so easy to apply and holding it in place gave me all the benefits of a super softening treatment that is a great addition to anyone!

This lip mask really stands out from anything I’ve ever tried before although most lip mask have a gel type of consistency this one is very thick and heavy which is so different from anything else I’ve ever tried. They can be a little tricky to use at first since it is a little on the thicker side I had to really make sure that I used my skin roller in order to help it adhere on my lips once I was able to get it smooth around my lips I could really feel my texture changing and softening as time passed. Once I removed the mask my lips were visibly soft and very soft to touch. They were so hydrated as well I feel like I didn’t need to apply any form of lip balm but I did opt to apply a lip mask on top just for added benefit and my lips were as smooth as they ever! I’m happy I tried these and can see why so many people love them!

As a beauty professional of 26+ years, I have been surrounded by beauty products most of my life. I had not yet been introduced to Soo’AE, so I was very excited to try their products! The My Collagen Hydrogel Lip Patch was amazing! This patch goes over the lip area and beyond. I have larger lips and this fully covered them and then some. There is a little slit so you can breathe. I did not realize until after I applied the patch, so an air bubble formed as I was breathing. I had to bust it open with my nail, which was very easy. This stayed on my mouth area very well and did not slide off. The moisturizing blend of 6 berries had a great smell and really helped to soften my lips. The collagen really did help to plump my fine lines in my lips. This is a really great mask to help get those soft, kissable lips!

I suffer from extremely dry lips. I tend to end up getting either sunburned or wind chapped on my lips every summer. The Collagen Hydrogel Lip Patch has been a game changer! I left this on for 20 minutes and my lips feel so hydrated and plump. It also feels so soothing while it is on! I didn’t really notice a plumping effect with this patch, but the hydration makes all the difference. Also, it’s very nice to put this on and lay back and just relax. I tend to talk all day every day because of being a licensed cosmetologist and so, it’s very nice to not be able to speak while this patch it on. It really gives me the opportunity to relax. I would highly recommend you try the Soo’AE lip and eye patches! I will definitely be purchasing more of both!

I opened beautiful package with pink Patch and applied on my cleaned lips, left for 15 minutes then removed. I applied rest of the essence in the package on my lips by patting with my fingertips. Soo’AE My Collagen Hydrogel lip patch comes in a single use package, which is great for travel. . I like to put them in the refridgerator for a few minutes before applying after cleansing. I massaged the patch to help absorb the collagen and berry extracts to help firm and hydrate. I left it on about 20 minutes, after removing, pat in any remaining product. I recommend doing this at night so you wake up looking refreshed and hydrated.

As an esthetician and a make up artist for over 6 years, Soo’AE has become one of my favorite brands the more i learn about it and try their products from beautytap. This collagen hydrogel lip patch is another amazing product from them. I supper feom dry, chapped lips and this lip patch was much needed. It claims to smooth, hydrate, and have a plumping effect. I found this lip patch to be extremely hydrating and smoothing, but did not see any plumping which is fine because i still love the product and what it did for my lips. I believe that in order to receive full results, you would have to keep using the patches more and i will be definitely repurchasing and do highly recommend it to everyone. I still give it a 5 star rating and appreciate the brand

I have been in the beauty industry for over 25 years in both corporate and retail side and I have tried numerous amounts of products. This Soo’AE My Collagen Hydrogel Lip Patch stayed on my lips better than their Soo’AE My Collagen Hydrogel Eye Patch – it worked well when I was laying down and I didn’t find it wandering and sliding off of my face. I eat a lot of spicy food, which equates to dried lips all the time and so this product does well for someone like me that their lip needs constant hydration and moisture. Not to mention I hate to have fine lines around my lips, so this lip patch also helps with that issue. If you smoke, then you definitely need this product to help alleviate the smokers’ lips.I like Soo’Ae products because they are a cruelty-free brand and it is 2022 – all companies should move away from animal-testing.

In my 30 years working in the skincare industry, the one question I get all the time is how to plump our lips without getting fillers. And the answer is in these patches. For years, I’ve been a sucker for lip products (because lips do age as well) and I love these patches. I use them at night, along with the eye patches, when I’m reading before I go to sleep. I leave them on for 15-20 minutes and my lips feel super hydrated and plump. Like the eye patches, the product claims to be clean but one of the ingredients listed is fragrance. And as I have explained before, fragrance is an umbrella term for a group of chemicals that have been grouped into one word (fragrance). However, the product is not tested on animals, is paraben, phthalates and formaldehyde free. The upside is that is filled with botanical extracts.

Hi, my name is Shannon and I’m a licensed cosmetologist and esthetician. I’ve been in the industry for over sixteen years . SooAe’s Super Berry Complex Lip Mask is a great way to hydrate and soothe the lips. It contains hydrolyzed collagen, green tea, & a super berry complex. To be honest, I’m not a huge fan of sheet masks, eye and lip masks. These type of skincare treatments do produce immediate results; however the results are only temporary. They awesome to use before makeup application for an important event; however just do not rely on these masks to produce long term benefits. I used the lip mask and actually kept it on for thirty minutes. My lips were hydrated and felt very smooth. Fast forward twelve hours, my lips are just as rough and chapped as before the application.

As a beauty professional for the past 15 years, I love all types of masks and patches because they really focus on one area of the face that needs extra help. This patch has great ingredients like Hydrolyzed Collagen, Licorice Root, and Green Tea extract. This mask is also much thicker than other ones I have tried, much more substantial and I feel the effects are much more prevalent. I’ve tried the Soo’AE’s eye patches and like the eye patches these are also full of collagen, niacinamide and other great ingredients to help firm and hydrate your skin. It is also a very thick patch which is great but it also kept sliding down my face. I had to almost continuously hold the mask in place. So I ending up laying down and still had to keep nudging it in place. Same packaging in that it had plenty of serum to smooth on to your face and neck. It’s easy to travel or throw in your purse, easy peel open and you get a single lip patch. Just a quick note to be super careful when handling the mask because mine ripped on the side corner when I applied it. Although it was incredibly soothing, cooling the fact that it kept sliding down my face was a huge disappointment because I could not go about doing other things during the 20 minutes wearing the mask, except for lay there and read which is fine but I would rather be able to multitask during the treatment. After 20 minutes and my skin felt refreshed, moisturized and even firmer/tightened. And I must mention again like the eye patches the best thing about this lip mask is they are only $4 and cruelty free! I don’t think I would purchase this particular product again, I still love Soo’AE and their many other products.I’ve been in the beauty industry for 30+ years. Within that time, I’ve worked for a handful of cosmetic and skincare brands. I worked as a cosmetologist for 7+ years, makeup and lash artist as well. I have mature, oily/combination skin.

A little frustrated at the misleading description. The way it’s written I thought that ordering 1 would come with the three lips for the whole treatment. It only came with one so I’m guessing you’d need to order 3 for the whole treatment but that’s not made clear in the description. Other than that, great product!
