I am a huge fan of hydrogel eye and lip patches, I love how they can provide instant hydration and smoothing. As an esthetician I use patches as part of a more in-depth skin/self care routine, and as a makeup artist they are a must use before any night out or event makeup application. I really like that these patches come individually packaged so they don’t dry out or get contaminated. These are perfect for travel, or to pop in a mini skin care fridge for extra cooling effect without taking up much space. If you have never used a lip patch before it can be kind of weird to not move your mouth, but it is definitely worth it to prep and plump up your pout especially before rocking a bold lip color. These collagen hydrogels also add some serious hydration that is pretty instantly noticeable once removing!

if you are looking for a soothing lip mask this is a great product. if you are looking for a plumping mask, i’d look elsewhere. this lip patch by Soo’AE nitially was super hydrating and felt great on my dehydrated lips, but did nothing as far as plumping. i used it after a long flight and honestly after an hour, my lips were parched and felt dry again. the patch also felt a bit thick; and i didn’t seem to have much residue to rub into my lips after using. i used this in conjunction with the eye mask, and while both helped hydrated my skin and helped me relax…they were also cute and fun to use.. the end results were disappointing. **This review was created through an educational promotional event hosted between the brand and beauty experts.**

I’m erika, I’ve been with Beautytap for a little over a year now. I have been a cosmetologist for 10+ years now, and I’ve been afforded the opportunity to try out a lot of products. One of my favorite parts about being an expert with beautytap is getting to try products I wouldn’t have otherwise had the chance to!I am someone who personally doesn’t like lip products other than a lip balm when my lips are dried and cracked. This mask was a fun little experiment to try. My 4 year old was definitely into it too. It did hydrate my lips and left them feeling silky soft. I did this before bed and left it on for awhile while my lips drank up the nourishment. I could see these being the perfect addition to a “getting ready” kit for a wedding! They’re so cute!

When I put this Hydrogel Lip Patch on it felt so soothing. Keep your head titled back so it stays in place. Relax and enjoy… I felt hydration in as quick as 5 minutes although directions say to keep on 10-15 minutes which I definitely did. The final step was to pat remaining essence with fingertips to improve absorption – “you are going to want to do this anyway.” It smells good and feels great on the lips due to the fruit extracts — 5 Super Berries (Strawberry, Blueberry, Bearberry, Cranberry, and Blackberry). Water is first ingredient and many others to follow that compliment the product. I would suck in air through my lips for suction so that my lips would get as much of the product on my lips as possible because I loved it so much. Ha! When I took off the lip mask I felt hydrated and ready to pucker up! It reduced fine lines and wrinkles and I was ready to put my lipstick on effortlessly. I love, love, love this product. Add it to your Beauty Ritual and I give it a 10! I am sold on this.

I love a good lip patch but I wasn’t the biggest fan of this one. The Soo’AE My Collagen Hydrogel Lip Patch is no different from any other lip mask I’ve done. They are extremely necessary though. A lot of people forget about lip scrubs and lip masks when doing their skin care. We must not forget about them. However, I’d like to see someone come up with a better way to do the collagen lip patch. Right now the only way to be able to use this product is to be laying back and while yes that would be nice to sit back and just relax with the patch on the reality of things is that sometimes we’re doing skincare and glam on the go so we need a product that isn’t slipping off if we are moving around or doesn’t require us to lay down with our heads back for 10-15 minutes.

I am truly not a fan of having dry lips, in facts it bothers me when I feel my lips being the slightest dry, so the Soo’AE My Collagen Hydrogel Lip Patch definitely came in clutch. When using this specific lip patch, be prepared to have soft, moisturized, and pumped lips as a result. The super berry complex which contains five powerful berries contribute to why your lips will feel moisturized after using the Soo’AE My Collagen Hydrogel Lip Patch. After cleaning my lips, I would apply the Soo’AE My Collagen Hydrogel Lip Patch to my lips and leave it on for no more than fifteen minutes. First of all, can I just say, these Collagen Hydrogel Lip Patches are absolutely adorable! As soon as I saw the cute and very convenient, easy to open packaging, I simply couldn’t wait to try them.Not only are these lip patches packed with hyaluronic acid, collage and green tea but they also offer a super berry complex. The combination of these ingredients help to plump and soften dry or chapped lips all while also providing and helping retain moisture.I think my favorite feature would have to be their size. The enlarged lip shape make these idea for anyone regardless their lip size. This makes it easy to keep in my PRO makeup kit to offer my clients an added form of indulgence. As an esthetician with 14 years of experience, I have yet to really get into products like this. I am definitely inpatient with my own skin and results. It is definitely the wrong attitude to have and one that I do not express to my clients, but in full transparency, it is how I feel and why I don’t usually gravitate to products like these gel patches. Nevertheless, I did enjoy using this product for the fact that it forced me to lay down and relax for the 20 minutes the patches are supposed to be worn. I am also a mother of four, so my time to relax is really limited. Usually, I am doing my skin care routine and mini at home facial in between reading stories and playing with my kids. So this product was a good way to get some “me time”. The lip patch is very moisturizing, because of this you must lay down, they started to fall when I was upright. I love anything and everything with collagen so I made sure to grab all the extra essence and pat that into my lips and even the surrounding skin to fight those little fine lines around my mouth. After use, my lips were very hydrated but not as plumped as I was hoping. Most products are not miracle workers, so I think this needs to be used more often in order to see fuller more hydrated lips as a result. Don’t fear, with an unbeatable price point you can purchase a couple and add this item to your weekly routine. Great stocking stuffer and nice little instant hydration and slight plumper for a younger client who already has nice skin and a healthy level of hydration. As a makeup artist, if 10+ years I am a fan of a good mask and can even find a bit of joy in a novelty item which is what I consider this to be. Will it add a bit of hydration, sure! It is basically serum in a mask which is true of most of these rapid mask bits that have taken over the register area of every beauty store. Do they work? Ish? Does this work? Ish. Yes, if you have a big day and want to wear a long-wear lipstick, I might exfoliate your lips, pop this on, and then a lip mask while doing your makeup. If you are a ciient with verticle lines around your mouth am I going to go to this as the savior for my older client with drier skin and texture around her lips? Not so much. This claims to deal with fine lines around the lips, I had them, I tired it, and Nada. With the lines that like to stalk those of us who are aging we are truly in need of the bare minimum Retinol, probably laser/ peel, and some filler to really get the help we are looking for. “Would I purchase this product for my teenage daughter and her friends? All-day long. Would I possibly use it on a younger client for who I was doing skinprep, maybe? Overall, this isn’t a huge draw for me and their is a purpose in if for the right clientele. .

These lip patches are adorable and super effective!! As a makeup artist this is a great way to give some added and extra moisture to a clients lips and priming it for any final lip cosmetics. Also great way for them to stay calm while you do lashes or eye application quicker. I loved using mine right after waxing my upper lip area and almost fell asleep listening to a podcast! These are super beneficial for lip care and help plump fine lines we get from doing every day things. As we get older is harder to produce collagen which is great to use these patches as additional help for collagen production and they are super easy to use! I recommend placing them in the fridge for a few moment before application for a super cooling effect while you wait.

I waited a while before I tried this lip mask because I knew there would be a particular time when my lips would need this type of treatment. Soo’AE My Collagen Hydrogel lip did not disappoint although i looked a bit silly I was determined to keep it on as long as possible. These types of hydrogel masks either for the face, lips or eyes tend to slip off my face. In this case I just carved out 15 minutes to sit back, relax and catch up on my favorite show. My lips felt hydrated and plump up but not to a level I really wanted. To be fair my top lip is literally disappearing so I don’t know if a lip mask will ever give me the effect I really want. As a makeup artist I know how hard it is to keep lips soft and hydrated, constantly using lip balm, gloss, lipstick or lip oils. This is a great addition to my skincare routine to keep up the lip care.

I have been a cosmetologist for almost 10 years. I have an emphasis on skin care. I myself have normal to dry sensitive skin. My lips are no exception. I’m a chapstick junkie. Burt’s bees is my favorite. I was excited to try the Soo’AE My Collagen Hydrogel Lip Patch. There wasn’t any flavor which I was a little worried about. It was cute and fun but I didn’t see much of a difference in my lips. The product was kind of hard to use. It kept trying to slip off of my face. Laying down helped a lot. When I tried to adjust it my nails tore it. I normally don’t use lip masks that you apply and take off, I’m generally a gloss/balm girl, but this Soo’AE Collagen Hydrogel Lip Patch exceeded my expectations and changed my interest in lip patches overall. The patch is not convenient to use however so it does require time during your day to relax and then let them sit there and perform, but it is worth it for the moisture bomb you get! I did not experience a plumping effect that the product claims but my lips did appear more soft and supple to the touch. The only downside is the amount of time you have to leave the product on in order to get the full benefits. Otherwise, there’s no reason you shouldn’t add the Soo’AE My Collagen Hydrogel Lip Patches to your night or morning skincare routine!

As a licensed cosmetologist of 6+ years, and a huge fan of lip injections I must say this was a no go for me. As I was testing out the Soo’AE My Collagen Hydrogel Lip Patch I noticed it isn’t one of those type of masks that you can slap on and just go. That’s what I usually like to do when I’m using any type of mask. So you have to set some Time aside to really get to use this product. I also didn’t really notice my lips to be any more “plump” than normal . They looked the same to me. I did however notice my lips to definitely feel more hydrated , and also felt more smooth after I used the Soo’AE My Collagen Hydrogel Lip Patch. I also did enjoy the smell to it, Its more on the fruity side and not too overpowering like some can be. I just felt like this was not the product for me Unfortunately.

I love the packaging on this lip mask! It is so easy to remove, unlike a lot of other lip masks which require inhuman strength to open only to leave the lip mask flying across the room. Upon opening I immediately smelled how yummy it was! It smells like raspberry jell-o. Unfortunately, the lip mask would not even stay on my lips and I had to lay down to use it. I use hydrogel masks to multitask and unfortunately you have to chill to use these. I will say that it felt nice and lips felt hydrated, but honestly overall I was disappointed I couldn’t wear it and walk around. My tip would be to multi mask; use the lip mask underneath a sheet mask so the mask can keep the lip mask secure and you can walk around. I wish it had the same hollowed out back like the eye gels to allow for security.

This was my first time using a lip patch so needless to say, I couldn’t wait to sample these. These lip patches are loaded with all types of soothing juiciness. As I suggested in my eye patch review, I would recommend you are laying down and or settled into a nice warm bath when you use these. They may slide if you move around etc…to be honest my lips did not seem more plump but they did feel smoother and nicely hydrated. Depending on your lips needs and considering they are affordably priced, I would say they are worth the try.

Living in Southern California with dry skin, I am ALWAYS up for trying hydrating masks. I’m also one of those people that keeps a lip conditioner everywhere, so I am hyper aware when my lips feel dry. I’ve enjoyed the lip masks I have used in the past, so I was interested in trying these Hydrogel Lip Patches from Soo’ae.Additionally, as a professional makeup artist, I often use products like these on my clients before red carpet events.I really like the combination of ingredients that these lip patches have to offer; the berry complex and all of the other fruit extracts seem to really help to hydrate, firm and smooth the lip area. I enjoy the thickness of the lip patches, but, like the eye patches, they are very heavy. The main complaint I have with these, is that they are not a product I can use unless I’m laying down. If I’m up and walking around, they slide off my face. Perhaps this won’t bother someone who has the time to sit still and not move while using these lip patches, but I’m not that person. I’d rather use a thinner lip mask that adheres better to my face so that I can do other things while it is working.Overall, despite the sliding, my lips did indeed feel hydrated, and appeared smoother after using these lip patches from Soo’ae.

I love learning and trying new products to be able to recommend to my clients, family and friends. It might be a personal thing but i am not a fan of lip mask or scrubs. With the scrubs its the texture on my lips. With the mask it is the texture, and feeling like i cannot breathe. I also had a hard time keeping this on so i felt like i was sufficating myself by having to hold it on. For what its worth i felt that it added slight hydration but i might have wiped off most of the product. it was just uncomfortable and something that seems unnecessary to me.

Being a retail expert for over 9+ years, this is definitely not the best lip mask that I’ve tried. This lip mask, just like the eye patches would not stay in place and kept falling off when I was wearing it. When I went to put this lip mask on it initially broke and split in half making it even more difficult to wear. It would not stay in place unless I laid down and didn’t move. I was not pleased with this product at all. Unfortunately I couldn’t keep it on my lips long enough to really see the benefits of this lip mask. They say the lip mask is supposed to hydrate and nourish while giving you softer lips for a kissable pout being cruelty free. I would not recommend this product until they fix the slippery formula or texture of the lip mask.

It’s made with with super berry complex like Strawberry, Blueberry, Bearberry, Cranberry, and Blackberry which a great for soothing and restore moisture back to the lips. Also has hydrolyzed collagen and plant extracts that work great to plump and hydrate.I left my lip mask for about 30 minutes because I just felt so relaxed and I didn’t have to talk. After taking it off I noticed such a difference on my lips. They looked incredible! They felt so hydrated and looked like I had plenty of water. It definitely plumped my lips. I have sensitive skin and often start to feel an allergic reaction with new products but I didn’t get no side effects. My lips tingled but not in a bad way. I can honestly say my lips where left plumped, hydrated, and moisturized.

Hello Again Beauties!I am a huge fan of the Soo’AE brand. I love their products! The quality per price point is something that I am always looking at when I shop for beauty products. Some skin care brands are so expensive and still do not deliver or use practices or ingredients that accurately reflect the price tag. With Soo’AE I truly believe that they have found a sweet spot. Every product I have used has delivered the promoted result. The Soo’AE My Collagen Hydrogel Lip Patch looked a bit funny on my face no doubt. But boy did it deliver. I for whatever reason did not have any issue with the product slipping off like some of the other reviewers. I was pretty skeptical of this product. However, by the time I took the HUGE lip patch off, I did notice a difference in my lips and fine lines. My lips looked poutier and definitely more hydrated. I really wished that Soo’AE would make a reusable lip patch that you could just reapply the Super Berry Complex onto that way you could always have for yourself and cut down on the waste. I am going to start keeping a set of the lip and eye collagen patches in my fridge and have these for a special treatment experiencing for my clients. The results are amazing and you feel super relaxed.Overall: A 5 star must have product for glam parties, home spa treatments,stocking stuffers, or for beauty professionals to offer as a special treatment experience. Plumped and hydrated my lips in a noticeable way and added bonus hydrated my fine lines and wrinkles around my lips.
