As a six year beauty expert, I love easy to use, pick me up masks that are effective and you see visible results. This particular mask clarifies and hydrates with the purifying power of Kaolin and the deeply nourishing power of hemp seed oil. This wash-off mask dries easily while withdrawing out impurities and deeply moisturises the skin. This mask is appropriate for skin types, especially for those with dry skin and dry weather. Soo’AE is a K-Beauty brand that delivers such lovely results for those of us with problem skin! The Hemp Dreams Mud Mask is not only clarifying but leaves skin feeling calmed and full of hydration. I tend to break out less now-a-days however the occasional breakout or cystic acne pops around my period. When I felt a particularly ugly blemish coming on I tried the mask and much to my delight it completely delivered! Upon washing my face I was happy that it washed off cleanly ( no tacky or stickiness upon removal) and the mud treated my blemish but never left my face feeling parched and dry. Once removed the mask had taken down some of the redness and swelling, and the next day it was practically gone. There is a very light herbal perfume to this mask which also reminded me of a day at the spa. The scent is light and not overpowering. Kaolin and Bentonite Clay clear up your blemish while coconut hydrates and leaves you glowing. I’ll definitely be adding this to my at-home treatments!

Soo’AE has become one of my favorite brands on my K BEAUTY list .I really like the masks in a pack . They are for a single use , but there is actually enough product for 2 uses , unless you just want to spot treat a breakout then there is more uses. What’s nice about mask packs , you don’t have to invest much and they are a really great way to sample different masks and you didn’t spend a fortune if you don’t like them. As an Esthetician , I have to recommend masks in your skincare routine , they make all the difference in the glow of your skin and at least once a week is all it takes to look terrific. The only con for me , is I do prefer creamy masks over dry masks for my skin type , those on the other hand that have problematic or oily skin , the dry masks are excellent , they really deep clean the pores , but this mask is suitable for all skin types. I would however suggest for sensitive skin clients to remove before drying time .

I was a little nervous about trying a mud mask since they usually pull out more than they replenish on my dry, sensitive skin. I was pleasantly surprised. After I cleansed my face, I applied the mud mask all over my face it went on very smoothly and after letting it sit the recommended time about 17 minutes, I rinsed and was very pleased with how soft my face felt. I’ll have to attribute that feeling to the hemp seed oil coconut extracts and green tea properties in this mask. I usually do not grab mud mask because they usually overdry my already dry skin and it’s really hard for me to rebalance that moisture loss. I really appreciate that after 10 years working on the beauty industry we still continue building. New trends on top of old existing trends. Mud mask is it something I would normally buy but the best thing is this small little packet so you can try it for a special day after you buy it. Hemp seed has a nourishing quality not only for skin but for hair and it’s also something natural and clean we should incorporate into our diets as well. I used mine after a day I felt that my skin was oily due to the increased temperature this season. Save your packet for a day you have time to really let it dry into the skin for the full benefit. I’d say use a washcloth absolutely to get it all the way off. The matte feeling left after the vitamins absorb into your skin will leave a perfect palette to follow w the soo’ae collagen drops. Clarifying AND moisturize together in one product is difficult to find.

This was an easy-to-use mask with good results. The packet came with more than I needed for a single use, so I convinced my husband to mask with me. While he wasn’t that interested in the beauty ritual, it did leave his skin looking clearer and smoother — not a small feat for someone who refuses to use skincare pretty much ever! I’m a licensed esthetician and product reviewer so of course, I was excited to see what this mask can do. My skin is slightly sensitive, and it reacted slightly to this mask. Just some light tingling and a bit of redness. However, the redness cleared up quickly after removal and then my skin looked great. In addition to removing gunk from my pores, it left my skin feeling soft and smooth. I’m a big fan of multi-tasking products, especially one like this that clarifies and moisturizes: two important factors of clear skin. This would be a great mask to use weekly to maintain results, or even to just use before an event (just make sure to patch test first!)

I have combination oily skin. The areas in front of my ears are very very dry. I’m usually not a fan of mud masks b/c they dry my skin out too much. However I noticed that this mask had some hydrating properties listed in the description. For my my combo skin this mask did extremely well. Not only did it leave my skin feeling clean and smooth. It’d didn’t over dry me out. My dryer areas on the perimeter of my face where more than okay, I feel this mask gave me some much needed hydration. I enjoyed the creamy texture of the mask while applying it on my skin and was very generous with my application. The dry down was nice and I enjoyed the tightening sensation while the mask dried. I will be purchasing more of this mask to include periodically in my skin routine. The price point and benefits are amazing!

I have the privilege of being in the beauty industry for 30+ years and the opportunity to experience hundreds of cosmetic products. Having mature skin, I often shy away from clay masks, this was a pleasant surprise. What to expect: This Soo’AE Hemp Dreams Mud Mask is made with 100% natural hemp seed oil, kaolin clay, coconut, green tea, camellia sinensis leaf extract, and centella asiatica extract. It has a slight botanical scent. It clarified my skin but did not dry out or leave it feeling stripped. I first applied a moisture mist and followed with a thin layer (a little goes a long way) of the mask, it dried in about 15 minutes and did not crack like similar products. It was slightly challenging to remove all of the mask, I would recommend using a gentle towel (microfiber) to help the removal process. It’s a great value for the price with great results, there was a nice glow to my skin post-mask. This mask would work for a variety of skin types.

Soo’AE is an affordable and vegan K-Beauty brand which in my opinion outperforms other brands in their price range. The Soo’AE Hemp Dreams Mud Mask is refreshingly cool and gel like as you smooth it over your face. It has a garden-fresh scent and dries like a traditional mud mask after about 20 minutes. It left my face feeling smoother but still in need of follow up hydration. It clarifies without being too drying because it contains hemp and coconut oil. The green tea also helps to reduce redness and inflammation. Overall, I would recommend this for most skin types. I love using This Soo’Ae Hemp Dreams Mud Mask. As a licensed Esthetician for over a decade, I love implementing masks on a weekly basis for both clients and myself. I remember growing up in the 80’s and buying those horrible green masks at the dime store that would crack if you made a facial expression. This a sophisticated (and not horrible) version of a “setting” mask that were popular back in the day. This product was easy to apply and contained a clean aroma (that could be off putting to those who are sensitive to smells) but the fragrance evaporated quickly. I haven’t used a “tightening” mask is a long time, but I felt as if this one was relatively pleasant to use. Removal was fairly simple as well. The end result was clarified skin that didn’t feel as if all of the moisturization and hydration had been removed. It was a good balance of having a deep clean but still maintaining nutritive properties. I think this would be a great fit for combination to oily skin types that aren’t overly dry or sensitized.

This mask treated, nourished, and purified my skin. It’s surprisingly non-stripping on the skin, considering it is a clay mask. The packaging makes people mistake it for a sheet mask, but it is not. It is a clay mask. The mask dispenses as a creamy texture that is not heavy or thick. The product feels cooling on my skin. So perfect because of my sensitive skin type. I like things that are cooling to calm my redness. The creamy and soft texture allows me to apply the mask with no effort. It glides on my skin very easily. It is not runny or feels dry. I’m able to apply the mask where I want without having to worry it will dry too fast. The botanical scent is very pleasant and minimal. After I applied, in about 5 minutes, the mask began its clay mask action. I can actually feel the mask hardening and making my skin feel tight. Rinsing off required a facial towel for me. I found just using water was not as effective. Using a damp towel to remove the mask made cleaning easier. Afterwards, my skin looked refreshed, felt soft and moist, appeared clean, and revealed a healthy bright complexion. As a Licensed Esthetician, I would recommend this for any skin type. It’s gentle and calming for Sensitive Skin. Hydrating and nourishing for Dry / Normal Skin. Also, purifies without stripping for Oily / Combo Skin. The main ingredients are Green Tea Extracts (antioxidant and calming), Coconut Fruit Extracts (hydration and nourishment), and the Cannabis Sativa Seed Oil (rich in omegas and inflammation reduction for the skin). This one packet, I was able to stretch it out to 3 applications. My tip to further the use is seal the packet tight with a strong pin and each time massage the mask to a thin layer as you try to cover each area of your skin. My experience was overall very nice and my skin appreciates the results so much.

Soo’AE Hemp Dreams Mud Mask contains high mineral content, vitamins and other nutrients to nourish my skin while gently removing all my skin impurities. The power of Kaolin plus the abundant nourishment of Hemp Seed Oil is very effective to reduce the appearance of my blackheads and breakouts. I apply the mud mask thinly all over my face. Leave it for 20mins and rinse it off using lukewarm water. Right afterwards I noticed my pores were tightened and my face is soft to the touch and it has never felt this soft prior to using this Hemp Dreams mud mask. My combination skin loves it and looking forward to continue using it. The only bad part was that my face looks a little bit red after using it but doesn’t hurt and when woke the next day my face looks radiant and smooth ( see picture#2). The Soo’AE Hemp Dreams Mud Mask really is dreamy for the skin. It is a light weight mask. It does not cake on like most mud masks. It does dry and harden like one, though. It feels silky gliding on the skin. The scent is light and pleasant. And, wow what it does for the skin. I get rosacea, and had been experiencing redness on my nose during the days prior to using this mask. This mask reduced the redness, smoothed the texture, and left my skin silky soft for days! The combination of kaolin clay and hemp seed oil really work to reduce inflammation and pull impurities from the skin. I’d say this is gentle enough for even sensitive skin types, because it is really soothing. If you have sensitive skin and can’t use most mud or clay masks, definitely give this one a try!

With over six years in the beauty retail industry, I know that a lot of customers are looking for affordable products that work. And Soo’AE gets it right on both of those. As someone whose skin tends to react to skincare that contains green tea or hemp, I want to remind everyone of the importance of patch testing! Every mask tells you to do this, but I know not everyone follows instructions. I did one on my arm because of my skins previous reactions with other skincare products, and my skin did not respond during the patch test, so I knew it was safe to apply to my face. Not only did it leave the spot on my arm super soft, but it also left my skin on my face feeling nice and refreshed. My skin tends to run on the dry side, so I’m always looking for affordable options to keep my skin nice and soft feeling. Please also apply to freshly cleanser skin. I used one that I knew was moisturizing, but this mask itself helps with dry skin. So I think it is also a good option for people using acid based skincare or washes. Simply avoid the eye area, lips, and hairline and you’re good to go. I felt like this mud mask had a generous portion as well, so I was really able to apply it liberally. Not only does it feature hemp seed oil, it also has Centella Asiatica which helps protect your skin’s natural barrier, and Kaolin which helps clarify the skin. Last but not least, I did not think the smell was overpowering at all. In fact it was quite minimal, and I say that as someone with scent sensitivities. This mask is only $5 as well. I enjoyed this mask, as masking is one of my favorite rituals! It was so gentle and so hydrating. With all my masks, they always peel and crumble off, so I can’t do much. And after 5 years as an MUA, I have a lot of masks! This one was so low maintenance. The texture of the Hemp mask feels so smooth going on, with a hydrating mixture of coconut, green tea, hemp seed oil, and purifying clay. I agree that it’s great for all skin types, I think anyone would love this! My skin felt noticeably softer and clearer after rinsing it off. I love that they’ve used natural ingredients, like centella asiática extract to help the skin barrier recover. I used this after a hot day in the Texas sun, and it was so soothing. I would also recommend to someone with sunburnt or reactive skin, because the hemp seed is very moisturizing and comforting. Highly recommend, especially for the price!

My combination skin just adores kaolin masks but I often find they can be a bit irritating if used on dry or dehydrated skin. The Hemp Dreams Mud Mask by Soo’AE has taken this problem and answered it with a soothingly hydrating mask that calmly clarifies skin. This creamy mask feels silky spreading on and really locks moisture deep into skin. I actually found the hydration this mask provides rivals that of a jelly mask as it seems to really lock in moisture. I think the instant cooling effect this thick clay mask instills combined with the anti-inflammatory properties the ingredients provide really makes skin look smooth and firm. My skin was left feeling soft and appeared more evenly toned and glowing. Although the mask takes a bit of work to remove once it has fully dried, I think the results my skin showed are worth it. On a side note, I found the smell of this mask to be neutral and lacked any earthy smells that usually come along with clay based products. I love a good facemask. You can even consider me to be a face mask connoisseur! I’ve tried several mask and some how clay mask are never reall high up on my list to try except when it comes to Kaolin clay! My skin loves it! This mask is easy to apply and remove which is always great. The mask has a pleasant clean smell but the texture is closer to a thick pudding which is why is glides on and off the skin so well. This is an easy breezy type of mask that you can easily take with you on vacation and be comfortable with the results that this mask delivers. It’s very cooling once applying and allows you to easily emote through while wearing it. I will try this mask again and maybe pair it with steam before hand so I can really benefit from the ingredients a bit more.

I’ve tried many many many too many to count mud masks. I’ve tried the good, the bad and the ugly. Where does Soo’AEs mud mask fall? Meeeeeeeh. It’s middle of the road. It’s not bad it’s not great. It’s just ok. It’s a solid 3 stars. Hemp seed oil and Kaolin. Solid skincare ingredients. This would make a a great gift as it is a single pack. Also great for travel when you still want to give your skin lots of care while you’re not able to take your full arsenal. I did find the texture quite thin for a mud mask. I like mine quite thick and give it a good thirty minutes to really dry. It’s the tightening effect of mud masks that I like. This never really delivered that so much.As a five year veteran in the high end skincare retail industry, Im not impressed but I don’t hate it.

The Hemp Dreams Mud Mask was a smooth, non irritating mask with a mild scent. I love the hemp oil and all of its natural healing properties for the skin. It dried quickly and it felt a little tight but not uncomfortable. My pores were getting a deep cleanse from harmful environmental radicals found everywhere and it was like a spa day at home! It dried to a translucent film over my skin. It was unlike any other mask that I had used prior. My skin was left feeling extremely tight and dry and I immediately toned and moisturized to bring my skin back to a normal feeling. The Mud Mask is recommended for adding moisture, but that was not my experience. Although it was extremely clarifying to my pores it was a little harsh and dry for my skin’s texture.

Hemp oil can help balance out skin regulating the skin oil production. Having combination skin type that is a plus for me. The kaolin and the ingredients reminded me of my great grandma’s white dirt. It is good for managing dry skin and also absorb in excess oils. It’spH level is 4 to 5 and it is safe for humans and the environment Before using this hemp dreams mud mask I cleansed, exfoliated and tone my skin. The application process is simple. Just apply a light covering over damp skin evenly. I felt this mud mask working the minute I applied it. There was a tingly feeling. Not that burning one. Just light like it was going into my skin working. It felt good! When I took off the nask after 20 minutes I noticed my skin was lighter and brighter looking refresh and glorious.

This is my first experience with Soo’AE skincare and it’s definitely been fun. I absolutely love kaolin masks and the fact that this one also is infused with hemp is a bonus. I use kaolin masks when my skin needs a good detox or I have a breakout. Sometimes, kaolin masks can be drying (I have mature/drier skin). This mask definitely detoxed my skin, but was not drying. In fact, my skin felt very hydrated, plump, & supple. I’m thoroughly gobsmacked that my skin is as hydrated as it is without feeling oily. First of all being a beauty professional for over 30 years I have tried many, many clay masks and mud masks . I tend to have combination and or oily and dry skin all at the same time. So sometimes it can be tricky finding a good gentle mask that’s not gonna dry your skin out too much to make it make more oil. This mask by SOOA’E is so nice and gentle. I really love this company it’s very green and uses recycled paper. I think a lot of their products that they make are very advanced in fact this one contains green tea ,coconut and 100% natural hemp seed oil . So because it has the green tea with coconut and hemp seed oil it is really creamy the way they whipped it up . It has this purifying power of Kaolin Clay and the hydrating hemp seed oil to soothe it after . This not only hydrates it and clarifies it all in one but it makes it feel so soft like you just went in a steam room and cleaned your pores out so well. I love the way it feels when you put it on your skin it feels really creamy it’s not a drying mask at all , although it does get a bit hard as it dries. Again It actually is hydrating and clarifying all in one which I know is hard to believe but that’s the beauty of their advanced combinations . So if you’re looking for a nice clarifying and hydrating mask to toss in your bag it’s so convenient it comes in these little envelopes. I just squeeze it out you will love the result it’s just really soothing after like a great refresher on those days when your face just needs a lift. I would use this mask about once a week and it really clarifies if you do get breakouts or anything it’ll help it clear it up ,but then it hydrates it too so it will soothe the breakout ! I have been in the beauty industry for over 25 years in both corporate and retail side and I have tried numerous amounts of products. This Soo’AE Hemp Dreams Mud Mask went on my skin very nicely and easily. I usually find clay and mud mask to go on thick and you have to use a lot of energy to distribute around your face, but this wasn’t the case with this mask. It went on as though I was applying moisturizer on my face – spread like butter. I think it’s due to the fact it contains 100% Natural Hemp Seed Oil. I have combination skin with major blackhead issues and so I appreciate the detoxifying power of kaolin. Even when the mask dried down, it didn’t feel like my skin was so tight compared to other masks that I have tried that contained kaolin, my skin still felt hydrated throughout the 20 minutes of leaving this on my face. I love Soo’AE because it is a cruelty-free brand.

As an esthetician and a make up artist for over 6 years i have to start off by saying Soo’AE is one of my favorite brands ever since i learned about them and got to try their peoducts from beautytap. They have great products for all skin types, from masks, to make up and other amazing products. I was so excited to try this mud mask. I have super sensitive skin and usually masks break me out due to heavily being fragranced, but this mud mask was so relaxing to have on my skin. It did not sting or burn, it was cooling. It dried on the skin so smoothly without peeling or breaking. It is infused with 100% hemp seed oil making it hydrating but purifying from the mud at the same time. Does a great job of getting rid of oil, dirt, and residue from the skin. I loved it and highly recommend it

What is impressive – the ingredients : 100% natural hemp seed oil ( excellent to moisturize and nourish your skin), Centella Asiatica extract ( help to restore skin).I applied this MUD MASK on my face after cleanser and toner with brush ( you can use 2 fingers too). Please don’t apply around your eyes and near your hair because mask would dry soon, and leave on your skin for 20 minutes or til mask would dry, then rinse with water ( I did in the shower). You would love this mask – skin is silky and looks very refreshed.

After 26 years in the beauty industry, I have gotten to try many hair and skin products. Soo’AE is a new brand to me and I love that all of their products are clean and affordable, along with fun to use and easy to use! This is a clay mask, so it will dry! Avoid the hairline, along with eyes and lips. I applied this lovely thick, creamy mask to my damp face and neck (there is a lot of product in one pouch) and left it for 15 minutes. It spreads easily and has a nice soothing effect as I applied it. The hemp seed oil has a lovely anti inflammatory action on my skin. This had a natural hemp smell to it, very similar to the Body Shop Hemp hand cream if you’ve ever used it. After 15 minutes, I massaged warm water on to my face and this mask easily rinsed off. My skin felt a little dry afterward, but, some pesky comodones easily popped right out of those congested pores. Great mask pre-extractions!

I have been a beauty reviewer for over three years and a beauty consultant. After spending the day hiking I was excited to come home and try out my hemp dreams mud mask by Soo’AE. The best part about this mask is that it’s clarifying and moisturizing. I live in a very dry region, but also deal with acne. This also has some ingredients in it that are great for your skin like cannabis sativa seed oil to calm irritation. It also has coconut to help moisturize. It also includes camellia sinensus leaf extract which has several antioxidants in it. It also has caffeine in it to help with puffiness in your face. Overall it has a light floral scent. It goes on like a wet clay and then dries over twenty minutes. It easily rinses off, making it a great go too mask to reach for to calm an irritated face without drying it out.

Got this pack from a cvs originally and tried after a long day sweating and getting pollution in my pores. This sucked it right out but left my skin so hydrated and so soft. It felt like new skin, plump and hydrated but not at all greasy and all the gunk was pulled out. I’m buying more packs from Amazon to indulge once a week!
